Graeme has over 40 years' experience as a solicitor.  He specialises in all aspects of asset protection, including family trusts, limited liability companies, wills, enduring powers of attorney, and estates.   He is also heavily involved with property law, including residential and commercial conveyancing, leases, and the sale and purchase of businesses.

Philippa Tucker

Philippa has over 25 years experience as a litigation solicitor.  Specialty areas include Family Law - relationship property - including agreements, proceedings and appeals, Care of Children and Protection orders; Employment Law  - assisting employees and employers; and ACC - reviews and District Court appeals. Other areas of practice include civil claims, High Court matters including liquidation issues.

STEPHANIE AITKEN

Stephanie graduated with a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science/Maori Indigenous Studies) from the University of Canterbury in 2010.  Stephanie has worked in law firms in Christchurch and Ashburton, and began working at Joynt Andrews in 2012.  Stephanie has extensive experience with Care of Children, Protection Orders, Relationship Property agreements and proceedings, and Estate issues. Stephanie has advised on many Adoption issues including international adoptions and complex adoption related issues.  Stephanie has significant experienced with disputes relating to capacity and elder care and PPPRA welfare and property orders.

SAMANTHA LAWRENCE

Samantha has extensive experience acting for landowners, developers and financing parties in all aspects of commercial leasing, investment, site assembly and development of both residential and commercial property.  In addition, Samantha has carved out a niche practice at Joynt Andrews in the resolution of building disputes, as well as preparation and advice on terms of trade and building contracts.   Samantha also shares a supervisory role in respect of our small business, residential property transactions and estate and elder law matters.

 Samantha has since 1991 worked in Brisbane in Australia, and since 1996 in highly regarded real estate teams in London and Cambridge in the UK, and since moving to Christchurch with her family in 2006 has taught Property and Commercial Law and Practice for the College of Law.

 Samantha enjoys identifying resolutions for problems faced by our diverse client base, and working as part of a close knit team within a well-established boutique firm, as well as the “Christchurch experience” of walking round the corner to work at our Joynt Andrews premises.
